Our team is building legged machines that combine versatility, speed, robustness, and efficiency – robots that can climb over substantial obstacles and run with high speed while using only little energy. Inspired by nature, we build upon new design and actuation principles that allow for soft (and hence safe) interaction with the environment. Our robots are powerful enough to carry substantial payload but at the same time small, light, and safe that they can be operated by a single person. These high-mobile robots open an almost infinite list of possible applications and markets that we might not even think of today.

Co-founded and organized with Xavier Duportet (MIT – INRIA Constraint Groups), Hello Tomorrow Challenge is a unique event to empower young european innovators (more than 1200 startups selected).
